During our Wednesday night prayer meeting, the youth of RLBC are divided into three groups: TFC (7th - 12th grade), Crusaders (3rd-6th grade), and children ages 5 - 2nd grade. Each group participates in singing and activities, with a Bible lesson directed toward the specific spiritual needs of each age.

About Teens For Christ

We have four star hotels and four star restaurants, and what we want to see is "four star Christians." It is our primary goal to see every teenager that comes to our meetings to be saved. Each teenager is a precious soul and will have the opportunity to trust Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Our second goal is to see each of the teens seek to know God better and develop a strong relationship with Him. Third, we want to see the teenagers live a separated life, set apart from the world and dedicated to God.

Fourth, it is our desire to see the teens serving their Saviour, not just in the future, but in ways that they can right now. Our desire is to see these teenagers develop into mature Christian adults that go on to serve God with their lives and stay involved in the local church.

The TFC group is led by our Youth Pastor Brian Witmer and his wife Jean. They are also assisted by Chris and Trudy Fahs, and Larry and Bev Fillmore.

The TFC group meets in the gymnasium every Wednesday night. The gym is open from 6:30 - 7:30 for a time of games and a snack bar. The service is then from 7:30 - 8:30pm.

About Crusaders

Calling all kids!!! If you are in the third through sixth grade, WE NEED YOU!! Crusaders is made up of children who love to have fun and enjoy exploring God's word. The theme this year is "Animals from the Bible". We will be learning some great lessons from God's Creations. One of the goals of this group is to reach out to children and give them the tools to change their lives for ever. One way, is to give them an opportunity to attend Camp in the summer time. Red Lion Bible Church believes it is so important for kids to attend a Christian Camp, that is centered on God's word, that they are willing to pay for about 80% or more of the fee (if the child will earn the required amount of points during the year).

Every six weeks each child is given a handbook to help keep them up to date with the many ways to earn points in class. Each Wednesday evening Mrs. Blew is busy recording all the points that each child has earned during the week. She keeps track of who has their Bible or who has said their memory verse. You can even get points for reading your Bible and praying. Mr. Runk and Mr. Kipp bring excitement to the group each week through songs and lessons from the Bible that will help you through each day. Mrs. Neff and Miss Weichert help with the game nights and are our "cheerleaders" for quiz nights.

The Crusaders meet Wednesday evenings at RLBC in room 502, 7:30 to 8:30 from September to May.
